# Syyclops vs Smart Tasks

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Syyclops at none against Smart Tasks's 5. Syyclops also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). Smart Tasks's advantage is ratings volume (4.5K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Tasks sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Syyclops asks for nothing beyond the download.

Syyclops holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Tasks has 4.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Syyclops ships an update weekly, Smart Tasks fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
