# Mod vs BlockMaker 3D

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mod at 61% against BlockMaker 3D's 8%. Mod also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (34K vs 336). BlockMaker 3D's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mod sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and BlockMaker 3D sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mod holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mod has 34K ratings behind it against 336, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 61% of Mod's written reviews are positive against 8% of BlockMaker 3D's.

Mod ships an update monthly, BlockMaker 3D weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
