# GPS Drone vs W

The clearest difference is rating: GPS Drone at 3.0 against W's 2.3. W's advantage is review sentiment (20% vs 0%) and ratings volume (29 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GPS Drone holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: W has 29 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of GPS Drone's written reviews are positive against 20% of W's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GPS Drone ships an update monthly, W every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
