# ForKeeps vs After Cloud

The clearest difference is ads: ForKeeps at none against After Cloud's shown. ForKeeps also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 12 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ForKeeps sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and After Cloud sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ForKeeps ships an update every 5 days, After Cloud every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
