# Full Moon Features vs Hooked TV

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Full Moon Features at 94% against Hooked TV's 37%. Full Moon Features also leads on iOS requirement (16.6 vs 26.0). Hooked TV's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (12K vs 226). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Full Moon Features sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Hooked TV sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hooked TV holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hooked TV has 12K ratings behind it against 226, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of Full Moon Features's written reviews are positive against 37% of Hooked TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Full Moon Features ships an update every 4 months, Hooked TV every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
