# Full Moon Features vs Cranked Up

The clearest difference is monetization model: Cranked Up at free with in-app purchases against Full Moon Features's subscription. Cranked Up also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6). Full Moon Features's advantage is review sentiment (94% vs 84%) and ratings volume (226 vs 37). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Full Moon Features sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Cranked Up sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cranked Up holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Full Moon Features has 226 ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of Full Moon Features's written reviews are positive against 84% of Cranked Up's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Full Moon Features ships an update every 4 months, Cranked Up every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
