# Before After Effect Collage BA vs ReelMaker

Before After Effect Collage BA and ReelMaker both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 70% of Before After Effect Collage BA's written reviews are positive against 57% of ReelMaker's. ReelMaker's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Before After Effect Collage BA sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and ReelMaker sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReelMaker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 383 and 609 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Before After Effect Collage BA's written reviews are positive against 57% of ReelMaker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Before After Effect Collage BA ships an update every 3 weeks, ReelMaker every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
