# Before After Effect Collage BA vs Jolly Lights Professional

The clearest difference is monetization model: Before After Effect Collage BA at freemium against Jolly Lights Professional's subscription. Before After Effect Collage BA also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Before After Effect Collage BA sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Jolly Lights Professional sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Before After Effect Collage BA holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Before After Effect Collage BA has 383 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Before After Effect Collage BA's written reviews are positive against 75% of Jolly Lights Professional's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
