# Secret Diary With Lock vs egg

The clearest difference is review sentiment: egg at 100% against Secret Diary With Lock's 53%. egg also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Secret Diary With Lock's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (736 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secret Diary With Lock sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and egg sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Secret Diary With Lock holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Secret Diary With Lock has 736 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Secret Diary With Lock's written reviews are positive against 100% of egg's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Secret Diary With Lock ships an update every 3 weeks, egg weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
