# Die Toss vs Stinger Golf

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Die Toss at none against Stinger Golf's 2. Die Toss also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Stinger Golf's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 10 months) and rating (4.4 vs 4.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stinger Golf sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Die Toss asks for nothing beyond the download.

Stinger Golf holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stinger Golf has 90 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Die Toss's written reviews are positive against 81% of Stinger Golf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Die Toss ships an update every 10 months, Stinger Golf every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
