# inner vs POME

The clearest difference is rating: inner at 4.0 against POME's 1.9. inner also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). POME's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. inner sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and POME sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

inner holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 21 and 26 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of inner's written reviews are positive against 49% of POME's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

inner ships an update every 3 weeks, POME every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
