# Dualgram vs Avyan

The clearest difference is rating: Dualgram at 4.7 against Avyan's 4.1. Dualgram also leads on ratings volume (2.7K vs 74). Avyan's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dualgram sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per year and Avyan sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dualgram holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dualgram has 2.7K ratings behind it against 74, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Dualgram's written reviews are positive against 75% of Avyan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dualgram ships an update every 5 weeks, Avyan every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
