# restore vs BarsPay

The clearest difference is rating: restore at 4.6 against BarsPay's 1.0. restore also leads on review sentiment (39% vs 5%) and ratings volume (63 vs 1). BarsPay's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

restore holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: restore has 63 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 39% of restore's written reviews are positive against 5% of BarsPay's.

restore ships an update every 3 weeks, BarsPay fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
