# IC vs ScanAI

The clearest difference is update cadence: ScanAI at weekly against IC's every 2 months. ScanAI also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IC sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and ScanAI sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IC ships an update every 2 months, ScanAI weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
