# Foodak vs Ninja

The clearest difference is rating: Ninja at 4.6 against Foodak's 1.0. Ninja also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (90K vs 1). Foodak's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ninja holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ninja has 90K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Foodak ships an update every 9 months, Ninja every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
