# Loom vs MINNECT

Loom and MINNECT both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of MINNECT's written reviews are positive against 41% of Loom's. MINNECT also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.5). Loom's advantage is ratings volume (19K vs 2.5K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Loom against 4.9 for MINNECT. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Loom has 19K ratings behind it against 2.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 41% of Loom's written reviews are positive against 80% of MINNECT's.
