# StarPlayer+ vs 파일썬

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 파일썬 at 90% against StarPlayer+'s 29%. 파일썬 also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). StarPlayer+'s advantage is rating (3.9 vs 3.4) and in-app purchases (none vs 11). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 파일썬 sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. StarPlayer+ asks for nothing beyond the download.

StarPlayer+ holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StarPlayer+ has 95 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of StarPlayer+'s written reviews are positive against 90% of 파일썬's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

StarPlayer+ ships an update every 3 months, 파일썬 every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
