# Block 'n Strike vs Blast Party

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Block 'n Strike at none against Blast Party's 13. Block 'n Strike also leads on review sentiment (80% vs 62%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Blast Party's advantage is ratings volume (3.6K vs 43). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blast Party sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Block 'n Strike asks for nothing beyond the download.

Blast Party holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blast Party has 3.6K ratings behind it against 43, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Block 'n Strike's written reviews are positive against 62% of Blast Party's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Block 'n Strike ships an update every 3 days, Blast Party every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
