# Rope Bowling vs Change and Drop

The clearest difference is monetization model: Change and Drop at ad-supported against Rope Bowling's free with in-app purchases. Rope Bowling's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 2K) and review sentiment (41% vs 30%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Rope Bowling against 4.6 for Change and Drop. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rope Bowling has 14K ratings behind it against 2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 41% of Rope Bowling's written reviews are positive against 30% of Change and Drop's.

Rope Bowling ships an update every 2 weeks, Change and Drop weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
