# HuntSmart vs RIX+

The clearest difference is rating: HuntSmart at 4.5 against RIX+'s 3.7. HuntSmart also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 17). RIX+'s advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 35%) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HuntSmart holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HuntSmart has 13K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of HuntSmart's written reviews are positive against 50% of RIX+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HuntSmart ships an update every 2 months, RIX+ every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
