# ShowNow vs FlickTide

The clearest difference is ads: ShowNow at none against FlickTide's shown. ShowNow also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15). FlickTide's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ShowNow ships an update every 3 weeks, FlickTide every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
