# Orchid vs NaroVPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: NaroVPN at fortnightly against Orchid's every 5 weeks. Orchid's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orchid sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and NaroVPN sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Orchid ships an update every 5 weeks, NaroVPN fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
