# Melodics for iPad vs Drumr

Melodics for iPad and Drumr both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of Drumr's written reviews are positive against 39% of Melodics for iPad's. Drumr also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 8 days) and device support (3 vs 1). Melodics for iPad's advantage is ratings volume (394 vs 95) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Melodics for iPad sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $34.99 per month and Drumr sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Melodics for iPad holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 394 and 95 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Melodics for iPad's written reviews are positive against 86% of Drumr's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
