# Melodics for iPad vs MuseFlow

The clearest difference is rating: Melodics for iPad at 4.6 against MuseFlow's 4.0. Melodics for iPad also leads on ratings volume (372 vs 4). MuseFlow's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 39%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Melodics for iPad sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $34.99 per month and MuseFlow sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Melodics for iPad holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Melodics for iPad has 372 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Melodics for iPad's written reviews are positive against 50% of MuseFlow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
