# Meta Viewpoints vs VIVE Connect

The clearest difference is rating: Meta Viewpoints at 4.8 against VIVE Connect's 3.7. Meta Viewpoints also leads on ratings volume (22K vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). VIVE Connect's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
