# BlockSite vs CleanBrowsing.org DNS The clearest difference is in-app purchases: CleanBrowsing.org DNS at none against BlockSite's 17. CleanBrowsing.org DNS also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.2) and device support (3 vs 1). BlockSite's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 38%) and ratings volume (6.2K vs 329). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them. Both are free to download. BlockSite sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. CleanBrowsing.org DNS asks for nothing beyond the download. CleanBrowsing.org DNS holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BlockSite has 6.2K ratings behind it against 329, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of BlockSite's written reviews are positive against 38% of CleanBrowsing.org DNS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
