# BlockSite vs Block All Widgets

The clearest difference is rating: BlockSite at 4.2 against Block All Widgets's 1.0. BlockSite also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ratings volume (6.2K vs 1). Block All Widgets's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BlockSite sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Block All Widgets sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BlockSite holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BlockSite has 6.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BlockSite ships an update fortnightly, Block All Widgets every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
