# BlockSite vs BeTimeful

The clearest difference is monetization model: BlockSite at freemium against BeTimeful's subscription. BlockSite also leads on ratings volume (6.2K vs 115). BeTimeful's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 61%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BlockSite sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and BeTimeful sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BlockSite holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BlockSite has 6.2K ratings behind it against 115, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of BlockSite's written reviews are positive against 71% of BeTimeful's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
