# BlockSite vs BlockerX Pro

BlockSite and BlockerX Pro both sit at 4.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 62% of BlockSite's written reviews are positive against 38% of BlockerX Pro's. BlockSite also leads on ratings volume (6.3K vs 377) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BlockSite sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and BlockerX Pro sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.2 for BlockSite against 4.1 for BlockerX Pro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BlockSite has 6.3K ratings behind it against 377, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of BlockSite's written reviews are positive against 38% of BlockerX Pro's.

BlockSite ships an update fortnightly, BlockerX Pro monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
