# SRG Sync vs The Mercury Group

The clearest difference is update cadence: SRG Sync at every 2 months against The Mercury Group's every 7 months. SRG Sync also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SRG Sync ships an update every 2 months, The Mercury Group every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
