# xHP Flashtool vs BimmerFix

The clearest difference is rating: xHP Flashtool at 4.9 against BimmerFix's 3.4. xHP Flashtool also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ratings volume (2.7K vs 5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BimmerFix sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. xHP Flashtool asks for nothing beyond the download.

xHP Flashtool holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: xHP Flashtool has 2.7K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of xHP Flashtool's written reviews are positive against 100% of BimmerFix's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

xHP Flashtool ships an update weekly, BimmerFix every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
