# Cloud Chaos vs DOP 5

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Cloud Chaos at none against DOP 5's 1. Cloud Chaos also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (80% vs 64%). DOP 5's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (293K vs 13). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DOP 5 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Cloud Chaos asks for nothing beyond the download.

DOP 5 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DOP 5 has 293K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Cloud Chaos's written reviews are positive against 64% of DOP 5's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cloud Chaos ships an update every 9 months, DOP 5 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
