# CODECAR vs UHF

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: CODECAR at none against UHF's 4. CODECAR also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). UHF's advantage is ratings volume (2.7K vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UHF sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. CODECAR asks for nothing beyond the download.

CODECAR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UHF has 2.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CODECAR ships an update fortnightly, UHF weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
