# ThinQ Streaming vs ping

The clearest difference is update cadence: ping at every 2 days against ThinQ Streaming's every 3 months. ThinQ Streaming's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ThinQ Streaming ships an update every 3 months, ping every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
