# RSVP vs Countdown

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Countdown at 82% against RSVP's 0%. Countdown also leads on rating (4.7 vs 1.5) and ratings volume (3.1K vs 6). RSVP's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RSVP sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Countdown sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown has 3.1K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 0% of RSVP's written reviews are positive against 82% of Countdown's.
