# Rentals.ca vs Elev

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Elev at 75% against Rentals.ca's 2%. Elev also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Rentals.ca's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (62 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rentals.ca holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rentals.ca has 62 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 2% of Rentals.ca's written reviews are positive against 75% of Elev's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rentals.ca ships an update every 3 months, Elev every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
