# Discoup vs K

The clearest difference is monetization model: K at free against Discoup's ad-supported. Discoup's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Discoup ships an update every 2 months, K every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
