# Cyclops AR vs TouchTheVideo Plus

The clearest difference is monetization model: TouchTheVideo Plus at freemium against Cyclops AR's subscription. TouchTheVideo Plus also leads on rating (3.9 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (12 vs 3). Cyclops AR's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 56%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cyclops AR sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and TouchTheVideo Plus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TouchTheVideo Plus holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Cyclops AR's written reviews are positive against 56% of TouchTheVideo Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cyclops AR ships an update monthly, TouchTheVideo Plus every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
