# Cyclops AR vs AR Video Camera

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Cyclops AR at 67% against AR Video Camera's 0%. AR Video Camera's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.7) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cyclops AR sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and AR Video Camera sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AR Video Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Cyclops AR's written reviews are positive against 0% of AR Video Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cyclops AR ships an update monthly, AR Video Camera every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
