# Cyclops AR vs Lightcraft Jetset

The clearest difference is rating: Lightcraft Jetset at 4.3 against Cyclops AR's 3.7. Lightcraft Jetset also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (26 vs 3). Cyclops AR's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 40%) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cyclops AR sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Lightcraft Jetset sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $20.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lightcraft Jetset holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lightcraft Jetset has 26 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Cyclops AR's written reviews are positive against 40% of Lightcraft Jetset's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cyclops AR ships an update monthly, Lightcraft Jetset every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
