# KeepSolid SmartDNS vs Vahaflix

The clearest difference is review sentiment: KeepSolid SmartDNS at 56% against Vahaflix's 9%. KeepSolid SmartDNS also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (417 vs 3). Vahaflix's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KeepSolid SmartDNS sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Vahaflix sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vahaflix holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KeepSolid SmartDNS has 417 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of KeepSolid SmartDNS's written reviews are positive against 9% of Vahaflix's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KeepSolid SmartDNS ships an update every 6 weeks, Vahaflix every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
