# Trust.Zone VPN vs VPN MAX

Trust.Zone VPN and VPN MAX both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 81% of Trust.Zone VPN's written reviews are positive against 60% of VPN MAX's. Trust.Zone VPN also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trust.Zone VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and VPN MAX sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $8.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN MAX holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 163 and 122 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Trust.Zone VPN's written reviews are positive against 60% of VPN MAX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Trust.Zone VPN ships an update every 9 days, VPN MAX every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
