# Save Area 51 vs Mech Boa

The clearest difference is rating: Mech Boa at 3.7 against Save Area 51's 3.0. Mech Boa also leads on ratings volume (149 vs 11). Save Area 51's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (45% vs 26%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mech Boa holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mech Boa has 149 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Save Area 51's written reviews are positive against 26% of Mech Boa's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
