# PerfectCrop vs Grid Split

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Grid Split at 100% against PerfectCrop's 39%. Grid Split also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 7 months). PerfectCrop's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (198 vs 8). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PerfectCrop sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Grid Split sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Grid Split holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PerfectCrop has 198 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 39% of PerfectCrop's written reviews are positive against 100% of Grid Split's.

PerfectCrop ships an update every 7 months, Grid Split every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
