# reChecklist vs Recurrence

The clearest difference is update cadence: Recurrence at every 3 weeks against reChecklist's every 14 months. Recurrence also leads on ratings volume (326 vs 17). reChecklist's advantage is review sentiment (92% vs 83%) and iOS requirement (13.2 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. reChecklist sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Recurrence sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for reChecklist against 4.7 for Recurrence. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Recurrence has 326 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 92% of reChecklist's written reviews are positive against 83% of Recurrence's.

reChecklist ships an update every 14 months, Recurrence every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
