# W vs SRNE

The clearest difference is rating: SRNE at 4.2 against W's 2.1. SRNE also leads on review sentiment (40% vs 17%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). W's advantage is ratings volume (49 vs 5) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SRNE holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: W has 49 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 17% of W's written reviews are positive against 40% of SRNE's.

W ships an update every 2 months, SRNE fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
