# Abdaar vs DMSS

The clearest difference is rating: DMSS at 4.8 against Abdaar's 4.3. DMSS also leads on ratings volume (79K vs 12) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks). Abdaar's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12) and review sentiment (100% vs 89%). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DMSS sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Abdaar asks for nothing beyond the download.

DMSS holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DMSS has 79K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Abdaar's written reviews are positive against 89% of DMSS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Abdaar ships an update every 6 weeks, DMSS every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
