# Missing Pets vs IBHA

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: IBHA at none against Missing Pets's 4. IBHA also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Missing Pets's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 8 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Missing Pets sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. IBHA asks for nothing beyond the download.

IBHA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Missing Pets has 1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Missing Pets ships an update every 2 weeks, IBHA every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
