# Whisker vs Morari

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Morari at 100% against Whisker's 52%. Morari also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Whisker's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Whisker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Whisker has 150K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Whisker's written reviews are positive against 100% of Morari's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Whisker ships an update fortnightly, Morari every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
