# Whisker vs FTX Dash Cam Viewer

Whisker and FTX Dash Cam Viewer both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of FTX Dash Cam Viewer's written reviews are positive against 52% of Whisker's. FTX Dash Cam Viewer also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Whisker's advantage is ratings volume (150K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FTX Dash Cam Viewer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Whisker has 150K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 52% of Whisker's written reviews are positive against 100% of FTX Dash Cam Viewer's.

Whisker ships an update fortnightly, FTX Dash Cam Viewer every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
